Waste Management has chosen to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) because LLS is helping to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. These blood cancers can affect anyone - our employees and our customers, regardless of their age, race or where they live. In short, all of us.
Fortunately, LLS-funded research is making great progress against blood cancers, but we need your help. By participating in LLS’s Light The Night Walk on October 1, 2009 you will be supporting cutting-edge research and innovative programs that improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We encourage you to join our team and help us meet or exceed our fundraising goal of $5000.
